A Call From Bali, World Silent Day

Hi fellow, it is a bit late, and you might be involved already, but it is OK, hope this knock others. I am writing this campaign after one of my best friend blog ask everyone to support World Silent Day, performed 21 March 2010. It is an effort to stop using energy in a few hours due to the health of the earth, this idea originally come from local wisdom which is Bali, called as Nyepi day or Silent day.

Here is the slight notes of the philosophy; Nyepi is an opportunity to let human being in the state of still attempted for reflection and meditation also it is believe that earth need a rejuvenate themselves. This ritual performed with the following conditions; Amati Geni: No fire/light, Amati Karya: No working, Amati Lelunganan: No traveling, Amati Lelanguan: Fasting and no revelry/self-entertainment.

This call is address to everyone to reduce energy use, for me is like yellow light which is great effort to heal the world and remind that we live in the same world, one earth. You can support this call to this site.

Have a wonderful weekend...
