Jakarta, i hate you but i miss you

Story... a story..., yes the title above is actually put a few months ago on my Edit Posts page. Supposed to be post in early march of this year. But for reason that i don't even know have yet, its postponed and just publish. I sometime experience the situation like that.

In Dutch colonial era,  Jakarta also known as Batavia, which is created like Amsterdam cause of the geographic contour. And Batavia took from a name of a ship of the Dutch East India Company (VOC). It was built in Amsterdam in 1628, and armed with 24 cast-iron cannons. Batavia was shipwrecked on her maiden voyage, and was made famous by the subsequent mutiny and massacre that took place among the survivors. A twentieth century replica of the ship is also called the Batavia and can be visited in Lelystad, Netherlands.

Jakarta is my second home town since 1993 - end of 2009, hot, crowded, polluted yet humid. Jakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia. Located on the northwest coast of Java, it has an area of 661 square kilometres (255 sq mi) and a population of 8,490,000. It is the most populous city in Indonesia and is the twelfth-largest city in the world.

One thing that had been my habit traveling around Jakarta is always having 2 hours spare for every single spot that i want to visit. Biking or motorcycling is the second choice to have you on time everywhere. So time is the concern yet the hot humid weather sometimes just make me stuck. And back to Jakarta is make me desperate but also missing it at the same time.
